What causes space weather?

The sun is one of the main reasons that causes space weather. Things on the sun called coronal mass ejections. Will all of a sudden blow up with radiation termed solar flares an will cause space weather to effect the earth. Non - solar sources such as galactic cosmic rays and meteoroids and space debris can all be considered as causing space weather conditions at the Earth.

How does space weather affect the earth

Strong storms in space can cause satellite and radio signals to crash. They can also cause power surges. According to the activities in space weather is can cause the weather on earth to change.

What is space weather?

The weather in space is not like what weather is down here. The weather down here has to do with wind, water and stuff like that. Space weather has to do with comets, the northern lights an stuff that occurs in space. When someone talks about space science they are talking about the condition that space is in. The changes in solar wind and magnetic fields make up space weather.
